Many bloggers are telling you to plan your time for 2021 so I will keep my post on the subject brief;

There is some benefit in thinking “Where do you want to be?” or “What do you want to achieve?” but if 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that things change. Fast. So don’t worry too much IMHO.

This year, I’d like to form some habits to keep regular posting up and hopefully start to monetize some of my blogging (not in an in-your-face way, don’t worry). I’d like to get fitter/thinner. I’d like to better myself by polishing some of my skills – initially completing some of the many online training courses and things I have signed up for over the years, where still relevant. We will continue to maximise our family time and making memories, lockdowns and travel restrictions permitting!

I’m setting out some goals for myself which are more monthly themes so I can allocate some time in advance and become less responsive. As my life has several strands (Family/Home, The Day Job, Side Hustles and Volunteering, I’m looking at each of these. I’m an ex-accountant, so Google Sheets is the place for this – I know the Calendar would make sense but I’d disagree when looking at the overview of the year.

I am using the calendar to “put the meat on the bones” of the plan – for a couple of weeks at a time. A fortnight seems about the right time to be looking ahead at the minute.

How do you plan ahead? What would you like to achieve in 2021?
